Feed and Links of London collaborate on charitable bracelets

Anti-hunger charity Feed has joined forces with jewelry company Links of London to produce six color cord friendship bracelets, reported WWD. Proceeds benefit nonprofits who feed children in need.

The silver bracelets boast a 50 etched into a small charm, representing the number of meals generated from the purchase. Two gold bracelets with an 18k gold charm, one in a heart shape sold exclusively at Harrods in the United Kingdom and one in gold leaf at Canada’s Holt Renfrew, will supply 250 meals.

As the co-founder of Feed, Laura Bush traveled to London to launch the collection during a breakfast at Harrods. “It’s our first jewelry collaboration,” Bush told WWD. “We came onto Links’ radar right when they were looking for a new children’s cause to support.”

The line will be available Nov. 10 in all of Links’ stores in the U.K. and U.S., as well as Harrods, Holt Renfrew and online at linksoflondon.com. The silver bracelets retail for $120 and the gold, $632.
