Jason Wu tackles hotel industry as connoisseur at the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts
Jason Wu has a new gig: connoisseur at the St. Regis Hotels & Resorts. He will serve as brand ambassador, sharing his outlook on fashion for the hotel’s high-end travelers, reported WWD.
With two shows held at the St. Regis under his belt, Wu will focus on producing new content for the luxury hotel’s website and creating international fashion events, including the “midnight suppers” started more than a 100 years ago by the company’s founding patroness, Caroline Astor. He will provide advice on everything from the event décor to the guest list. Working as a consultant for the website, Wu will impart his own exotic travel experiences, and as well as disclosing his fashion inspirations.
Wu begins his new venture on Friday, kicking it off with an evening party in Adour Alain Ducasse at The St. Regis New York.
