Jimmy Choo debuts new men’s shoe line
Jimmy Choo has a new masculine side. His recently launched men’s shoe line boasts classic options done with glamour, designed after the dapper London man.
Luxe is the word: All the shoes are lined in leather, with some models fashioned with cashmere flannel and shearling.
Men can get stylish with selections such as a classic monk-strap shoe with English pewter buckle, distressed biker boots, crocodile Wellington boots and even a “Porno Paisley” slipper, featuring silhouettes of swinging ladies reminiscent of a James Bond film.
“It’s a stand-alone collection for the man who’s on the arm of a Jimmy Choo woman,” Joshua Schulman, the company’s CEO told WWD. The chief executive hopes to garner credibility next to more well-known brands in the field.
The footwear collection, priced from $595 to $1,095, will be available through wholesale distribution, online at jimmychoo.com and in pop-up shops.
