Lindsay Lohan knocks off Middleton at Kardashian wedding
The dress actress Lindsay Lohan picked to wear for television star Kim Kardashian's Aug, 20 nuptials might ring a bell for royal wedding followers. That’s because Lohan donned the same Temperley London dress that Pippa Middleton wore to the after-party at her sister’s wedding – only Lohan sported it in white and not emerald as did Pippa, reported FashionEtc.
Considering the Kardashian wedding’s hard-and-fast black or white dress code, Lohan had little choice but to wear the dress in one of those two colors. The truly surprising part: Lohan apparently purchased the dress at retail price.
“I was honored that Ms. Pippa Middleton asked me to design her dress for the royal wedding evening reception,” Temperley said of the gown back in April, as reported in FashionEtc. “She loved the green color, which looks great on her skin tone. The dress was designed especially for her with a fantastic open back and a full skirt for dancing in.”
While viewers might have glimpsed Lohan's dress, those interested in checking out all the photos from the Kardashian wedding will have to wait. People magazine will release the images later this week.
Interested parties may also watch the whole affair, named “Kim’s Fairytale Wedding: A Kardashian Event,” on television channel E! come Oct. 9 and 10.
