Dan Lier and Mike Lindstrom have announced the release of their latest book, “Dan & Mike’s Guide to Men: 10 Secrets Every Woman Should Know From Two Guys That Do”, which answers some of the biggest questions facing single, dating and married women. The book goes on sale on September 1.

There’s no relationship rock left unturned in this book, which covers everything from jealousy and cheating, to setting proper personal standards.

Mike, a relationship expert, and his partner Dan, a dating coach, spent eight years researching and interviewing thousands of men for the book, to give women real, honest answers to make-or-break it questions. Topics include:

Rule of thumb, men want or will chase what they cannot have. It’s usually run by the ego. To rebuff a man outright can often lead him to chasing you even more—no joke! The challenge I see with women on this issue is that they are rarely BRUTALLY honest with the guy. Let me give you an example from one of my clients—she has this guy pursuing her aggressively and she is not into him at all. Instead of calling him and blatantly saying, “Buddy, I don’t find you attractive and you are definitely not my type,” she avoids his phone calls, runs away and sends him cold text messages. He kept on chasing her until I coached her to be brutally honest with him. What do you know? He stopped calling ASAP!

Other questions sent in include “How do I know when he is in love with me?” and “Why is he jealous?” The dynamic duo offer solutions for women that no longer put the power in the men’s hands, instead they propose that women attempt to understand the male psyche while at the same time maintaining their own unshakable boundaries and standards.

In their book, they hope to empower women to open the communication gap in their relationship and to feel comfortable talking about taboo issues, such as sex and money. They also explain the proper way to approach the “f” word—“feelings”—with men, who normally try to avoid talking about their emotions.
