Concours D’Elegance, the definitive luxury lifestyle event, will take place this weekend, July 27, 28 and 29, from noon to 6 p.m. with a special cocktail reception on the 29 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the gardens of the ever-fashionable Hurlingham Club.

Benefitting the Christchurch Earthquake Appeal – a global fundraiser that provides relief to those affected by the Feb. 22 earthquake in New Zealand – this affair will be a star-studded happening not to be missed.

Originally a showcase of vintage, classic and super cars, the occasion has expanded to an extensive lineup of the crème de la crème of all things luxe. From the finest in jewelry and fashion to the most sought-after yachts and jets, the event will feature a unique medley of brands from all corners of the world and will be held right on the banks of the River Thames.

Aston Martin, Morgan Motors, Sunseeker London and Rizon Jet are just a few of the famous names that will present at the soiree. Guests are invited to roam the designer shopping village and watch the fashion shows, check out the concours vintage car rally and witness a special anniversary display by Italian carmaker Alfa Romeo.

With a dress code of “garden party chic,” it’s the perfect opportunity to put your new floppy hat, tea-length dress and lace gloves to good use.
