Marriott Int’l Plans 2012 Expansion in Hanoi, Vietnam

Calling all Marriott point holders: You’ll eventually have the opportunity to visit the first 450-room expansion in Vietnam within the next 3 years.

The hotel giant, Marriott International, Inc. will partner with Vietnamese ownership group, Binh Minh Import Export Production and Trade Company, Ltd. to open a LUX-ury branded hotel in Hanoi!!

This new JW Marriott location is expected to be breathtaking from every angle of its nine-story, 450 room architecture. It’s slated to be near the city’s swanky, dynamic Tu Liem District and the National Convention Center. The JW Marriott is part of a master planned community surrounded with high-end residential apartments, townhouses, office buildings and recreational green space.

The Marriott was chosen as part of this expansion plan due to their strong brand, elegance and level of hospitality. The essence of the design is to combine 5-star design elements with business-oriented amenities, including an executive lounge with a meeting room for small conferences to achieve a LUX-ified vibe within this atmosphere.

Carlos Zapata, one of the top U.S. hotel designers, has been enlisted as the architect. His designs promise is to take LUX to the next level. With spacious accommodations including separate showers and tubs, flat screen televisions, and easy high-speed Internet access. This hotel is definitely being designed with the needs of the International business traveler in mind!!
