Nominate Who Inspires YOU: L’Oreal’s ‘Women of Worth’ Initiative
Do you know some incredible woman in your life that you would love to honor?? Well, L’Oreal has helped to create a grassroots movement called ‘Women of Worth’ to offer you the opportunity to do just that!!
‘Women of Worth’ was created to recognize women who are truly making a difference through their hard work and dedicated efforts of volunteerism!! One of the most powerful gifts we can offer is of our time and energy!!
The Women Of Worth Community is a powerful group of women joining together to make their local communities better via volunteerism. The womenofworth.com virtual community provides a central “meeting place” where women from across the country can share ideas, thoughts and best practices that can be applied to their own good works. In addition, it is a place where people with similar philanthropic goals can network and combine strengths and efforts for an even more powerful impact in the community. –via Women of Worth Website
As you can see, this program totally to embodies the LadyLUX philosophy of ‘Good for the Sake of Good.’ It even takes it a step further by creating a LUX-way to showcase these beautiful women doing their ‘good’ work in the world.
Annually, 10 women will be selected in total out of all submissions. And one deserving woman will be named the ‘National Woman of Worth’ by an online voting system determined by YOU, the public!! Each honoree will receive a $5,000 donation to the charity of her choice as well as a gift of $5,000 to the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund in her name! Not to mention, the honoree finally selected to hold the title of the National Woman of Worth will receive an additional $25,000!! This is what we call LUX-tastic!!
