Not invited? Obama may not attend royal wedding
Here comes the bride. But does here come the first lady? Michelle Obama has announced she will not be going to the royal nuptials. Why? Well, apparently she hasn’t been invited. Yet, anyway.
“Marriage is a personal private thing, they should invite who they want to invite,” the first lady informed Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa during their television show, reported British Vogue. She was quick to add, “If I get invited, I’ll go.”
She likely will receive an invitation, as American presidents and their significant others are usually invited to these kinds of things. For example, Nancy Reagan attended Prince Charles and Lady Diana’s wedding on her hubby’s behalf.
