ONEHOPE Wine: one hope for multiple causes

The multitude of worthy charitable causes can make it difficult to choose one to support. ONEHOPE Wine makes it easy to give back to several great causes just by enjoying great wines. The wine company has sought to turn the act of giving back into a lifestyle of hope and change for the future. ONEHOPE Wine has succeeded in its philanthropic work by donating fifty percent of its profits to partner charities.

“Hope is all about making the world better and giving people an easy way to make a difference. Wine is a living, breathing commodity that has always helped bring people together in common purpose. We can’t think of a better vehicle for change,” stated ONEHOPE Wine.

The organization began when eight friends transformed their personal mission to help a friend with cancer into a wine business by founding ONEHOPE Wine. Since 2007, their efforts have helped them sell over 40,000 cases of wine. This unique label is offered in hundreds of restaurants, bars, hotels and retail stores in select markets in the U.S., boosting the brand into one of the most recognizable philanthropic companies in the industry. To date, the organization has raised over $750,000 for a wide range of charitable organizations.

The ONEHOPE Wine company revolves around five different wines that support different causes. Enjoy ONEHOPE Chardonnay to offer mammograms to women without insurance; Cabernet Sauvignon to help autistic children; Merlot to aid children in Africa and India with HIV/AIDS; Sauvignon Blanc to plant trees; and Zinfandel to offer activities to children who lost a parent during military duty. ONEHOPE Wine has also given to other charities like Invisible Children, Keep a Child Alive, To Write Love On Her Arms, Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation and charity:water.

ONEHOPE Wine was selected as Regional Winner for the West in the Fourth Annual CLASSY Awards under the Philanthropic Business of the Year category for its charitable work and fundraising. The awards will be celebrated at philanthropy’s biggest night, the CLASSY Awards’ red carpet ceremony on Saturday, September 22, in San Diego, Calif.
