More Pre-Fall 2014 collections are gracing the runways with a bold statement in graphics. We’re coveting the strategically styled looks with the mixing of prints. Test out the plaids, floral jacquards and graphic accessories in your Pre-Fall style.
As one of the most common prints for fall, plaids are back in designer’s Pre-Fall collections. Classic tartan plaids are overtaking head-to-toe styles at Akris. For a modern twist on plaid prints, bright oranges are popping off skirts at Altuzarra, while thin lines of red are present in Thakoon's plaid pieces. Rich red floral prints are screaming sophistication in both Burberry and Carolina Herrera’s collections. For a playful bed of flowers, Bottega Veneta is mixing floral prints together for a fresh fall look. Another favorite jacquard floral is from 3.1 Phillip Lim’s collection. For the daring at heart, the graphic print accessories were curated with you in mind. Missoni is causing heads to turn with jailbird-striped gloves and a contrasting graphic print bag. For a dramatic but less busy look, 10 Crosby by Derek Lam is mixing checkerboard scarves and tops for a playful, office-appropriate look. For another play-on-the-eyes, Alice + Olivia took darling polka dots and splattered their bags in them. Polka dots and mini-checks are too cute not to wear to lunch, meetings, or out on a date.
