SS: 1. Medical grade vitamin c serum with glutathione and ferulic acid. Super antioxidant combination that delivers advanced protection again photo aging- neutralizing free radicals. Helps build collagen and naturally removes pigmentation. Key ingredients for more youthful skin and better defense against environmental aging.

2. Glam Glow Mud Mask- Exfoliation is a must to get that dull life-less skin glowing again. I use this twice a week. It contains ancient volcanic rock, French sea clay, and real green tea leaf pieces in it. It activates moisturizing collagen synthesis, provides gentle resurfacing exfoliation, smoother tighter skin texture and absorbs skin impurities without removing natural oils. Not to mention it gives you a 72-hour glow. It’s perfect for before or after a night on the town.

3. Nia 24 eye repair complex- This eye cream is a life saver. It’s a ultra rich eye cream to correct todays imperfections from darkness to puffiness to the lines while preventing further damage. It has pro niacin, which is clinically shown to improve, skin tone texture and hyperpigmentation. Also has matrixyl, vitamin c, licorice and white birch, caffeine, AMC complex and vitamin E. You can’t get any better than that. Wake up those tired eyes. They are the windows to the soul.

4. FDA approved light stim- A handheld device that uses specific wavelengths of LEDS (light emitting diodes) to energize your cells. FDA approved to eliminate fine lines and wrinkles, increase collagen and elastin, reduce appearance of pore size, firm and tone aged or tired skin, and smooths the texture of the skin. It’s great for acne, and rosacea as well. Only takes minutes with this device and my skin looks great.

5. Oxygentix foundation- I’m so in love with this foundation it makes your skin look like porcelain, dries matte and does not clog your pores. It actually oxygenates your skin with a 24 hr time release of oxygen. It has SPF 25 UVA/ UVB. Soothing aloe vera instead of water. It’s water resistant so it’s perfect for the beach and it’s great for people with acne, rosacea, or skin discoloration.

LL: What would you recommend for an every day beauty regimen?

SS: I always tell my patients that a beauty regimen is just as important as in office treatments. It’s crucial for skin health. A good cleanser to remove impurities, I love serums. So probably a hylauronic acid serum, which draws moisture to the skin to give you that dewy glow, a good moisturizer and most important SUNSCREEN. It’s great to use a mask once a week too for whatever problem you are having at the time like a sulfur or clay one for break outs or a antioxidant one to put vitamins into your skin.

LL: Do you have a favorite product line?

SS: I am such a product junkie so I can’t just pick one because I am always switching around to test what’s better. I also believe in always changing your skin care routine because once skin is used to something for too long it stops working. Just like they say with hair care as well.

LL: Is there one product you couldn’t live without?

SS: I couldn’t live without my Epionce firming mask. It’s anti-inflammatory and really helps soothe your skin especially if it’s looking dehydrated. It’s great for after a chemical peel or procedure.

LL: Number one piece of advice for skin care/beauty?

SS: Drink lots of water. Hydration is key for optimal skin health.

LL: What do you recommend to maintain overall skin health?

SS: Microdermabrasions, Chemical peels, Light therapy, and Oxygen facials. Along with a great product line to really maintain results at home.

LL: Are there any special tips to maintain skin in the summer months?

SS: Cut back if you are using a heavy moisturizer, most people get oily in the summer and dry in the winter so definitely turn to your lighter moisturizer to avoid that oily shine and clogged pores. A good exfoliant and of course, sunscreen. I also love fresh’s Sugar Rose tinted lip treatment for the beach days to give your lips a rosy tint with your sun kissed skin.
