USA Welcomes Prince Harry for his charity Sentebale
Attention LUXies… A British Prince will soon be in town!! Prince Harry will formally be visiting America for the first time on May 30th to support a great cause! ‘Sentebale,’ a charity Harry co-founded with Prince Seeiso of Lesotho to combat the growing poverty and HIV/AIDS crisis in Africa, will be honored with proceeds from the second annual Veuve Clicquot Manhattan Polo Classic. Both founders created the charity in honor of their own moms, clearly evident of the difference they want to make in the world. We know Princess Diana would definitely be proud!!
This polo event is sure to be traditional, yet classic! It seems the chefs are honoring the British pastime of ‘High-Tea;’ where a variety of teas, small sandwiches and finger desserts are served mid-day.
Expect Harry to be an active participant in the daily activities and the FAB news is that it is open to the public both for free and with ticketed seats. Do make note that there is a ‘dress code’ for all you LUX ticket holders. The proper attire is based off traditional polo match affairs: ‘women must wear hats and men in summer suits.’
