Gender-Specific Bathrooms, while You Fly?

That’s right LUXies, Japan ALL Nippon Airways has just announced that it’s implementing women-only restrooms for all international flights. No more competing with males to use the lavatory, this will be a women only affair!

The decision to install ‘separate’ restrooms comes from female customer feedback. It seems that they’ve received ‘numerous requests for this service’ and are now implementing this new policy as of this month.

“Many women said that they feel uncomfortable taking their time in the lavatory knowing that a male is waiting just behind them in line,” an ANA spokesman told AFP.

This isn’t the first airline to make such a designation, both Korean Air and rival Japan Airlines have already established these policies.

Would you prefer to have a women only restroom as a standard accommodation when you fly?
