Google has shown that searches for the term ‘Black Friday’ hit a record high this month and with the current economic landscape there might be even more of an increase to gain access to the best deals of the season.

A poll by the International Council of Shopping Centers found 16% of shoppers plan to begin their holiday gift shopping on Black Friday, up from 10% last year. –via adage.com

Expect the lines to be longer, but also the deals to be more tempting. With the reduced numbers of the year and the demand for Black Friday increasing it seems that retailers are pulling out all the stops to offer you opportunities of a lifetime.
