Make Your Outdated Denim Count with the Jeans for Teens Campaign
Looking for an incentive to clean out your closet and help others in the process?
Well this new ‘Jeans for Teens’ campaign, co-created by Dosomething.org and Aeropostale, just might be the incentive you needed.
According to the video above, ‘1 out of 3 homeless people are under the age of 18’. With that being said, they’re also in need of some warm clothing and the jeans that just don’t fit you anymore could mean a wish come true for one of these unfortunate teens.
The campaign invites you to visit any Aeropostale store to donate your jeans and as an incentive you’ll receive an additional 25% discount towards a new pair! So whether you want to help your denim make a difference for others or you simply need that extra push to clean out your closet, we thought we’d inform you about this amazing ‘Good for the Sake of Good’ opportunity!
This effort is aimed to target homeless youth in both the U.S. and Haiti and you have until February 14th to be a part of making a positive difference.
Be sure to check out the video above with Justin Long and Ashley Greene who present you with an opportunity to ‘do good’. Not to mention, with the first 100,000 pairs of recycled denim donated, Aeropostale will match it with an additional 100,000 brand-new jeans to help even more! So it’s like having your one pair of jeans turn into two!
So LUXies, what do you think about this new campaign? Does it inspire you to take some action? It definitely has already encouraged me to evaluate my denim, so we hope it’ll do the same for you.
