Rapper Kayne West debuts catwalk show at Paris Fashion Week
Singer Kayne West is hitting Paris Fashion Week with his first-ever runway show, reported Vogue UK.
British designer Louise Goldin was apparently first eyed as a possibility for the effort’s creative director, but in the end, the rapper chose London-based designer Katie Eary to head as creative. Originally a menswear designer, Eary has been creating bold, vibrant designs for women since September 2010.
Sources told Vogue that West had initially intended to debut his collection during New York Fashion Week, but has rescheduled for the final week of fashion month. The precise date has yet to be released.
