Art Imitating Life In The Sea

From the depths of the sea to our décor, Swarovski Crystal Palace Collection has masterfully created exquisite designs of couture lightening made to reflect the elegance of floating jellyfish, sea urchins and other underwater figures. The collection is a compellation of notable designers from Gaetano Pesce, Natasha Zupan, Rosita and Ottavio Missoni, Campana Brothers of Brazil, and Fredrikson Stallard who took the inspiration of the sea and translated that into outstanding works of art! The level of detail displayed is truly remarkable and exemplifies LUX. wink

Two of the LUXurious stand alones, included “Mediterraneo” by Pesce and the “Arbacia Punculata” by Natasha Zupan. The Mediterraneo is pure brilliance in the way it laced each illuminated LED light to delicately change color and mimic the movement of the jellyfish. This remarkable feat included the use of 140 crystal strands, each containing 87 individual Swarovski crystals. Zupan’s piece drew me in with its translucent juicy colors of summer fruit and its simple and elegant design.

Don’t just take my word for it, make sure to link over and check out all the designs for yourself! Live. Love. LUX.
