Blogger Spotlight: THE FASHION GUITAR
Today's blogger of the week is the lovely Charlotte from THE FASHION GUITAR. The Netherlands native, who now lives in London, refers to her blog as a “virtual diary”, with which she shares with readers her coveted style, adventures in travel and everything in between!
LadyLUX: What inspired you to start a fashion blog?
THE FASHION GUITAR: Other fashion blogs! Back then I was working in affliate marketing, and worked with many of the big bloggers. I loved their blogs, and thought this would be THE way to share my personal style and inspiration. Not much later THE FASHION GUITAR was online.
LL: Who are your style icons?
TFG: Eling Kling and AfterDRK for their minimalistic approach to styling. Carolines Mode for the amazing designer looks. Kate Moss for all time classics. Olivia Palermo for some classical inspiration.
LL: How would (someone) describe your blogging style?
TFG: Designer meets high-street. Always a good combination of both!
LL: What is your favorite part about creating content?
TFG: I love the creative part, and writing the little articles that acompany my looks. Selecting the photos is hard. I take many, and just use 5-8. Critical as I am on myself, I find it a hard task to choose the best. Representing the looks and style best.
LL: How would you describe your personal styles?
TFG: Combining designers such as Alexander Wang and Isabel Marant with Zara and H&M Trend. I love a good designer piece, but having something super fashionable for less money, as you can find at the two high-street shops, is also very satisfying.
LL: What was the most challenging moment in your blog content development process and why?
TFG: When I just had my baby boy (last January). It's a new way of working with a little one at home. But it works out very well!
LL: Whats your strategy with your blog in general?
TFG: Keep your readers up to date about personal things as well. They love a sneak-peek into my life, so I give them that too. We create a 'relationship' with it. Plus I try to blog every day! If I don't, there must be a good reason 
LL: Share something your readers might not know about you.
TFG: I was a goal keep in field hockey when I was young!
