Cri de Coeur to Launch New Affordable Vegan Footwear
Vegan-shoppers jump for joy!
A new line of fashion-forward footwear will be launched by vegan designer brand, Cri de Coeur, early this coming year in a much more affordable price range.
Expect this eco-line, ‘Hearts of Darkness’, to fuse bright colors with eight different silhouette designs to match your inner eco-fashionista and your budget. Utilizing fabrics such as satin and polyurethane, they’re completely animal free, sticking with the integrity of the brand, while also ensuring low-VOC glues and only recycled packaging will be used. These qualities make the line super LUX-tastic in the eco-fashion arena.
“I wanted to keep the same edgy and architectural design influences, but bring it to a wider audience because of the price point,” said designer Gina Ferraraccio. “It’s a more romantic take than the Cri de Coeur [line], which is a little heavier, a little darker.”
The Hearts of Darkness collection will retail for less than $100, which is more than 50% off of the normal price range for Cri de Coeur. How this price point was made possible was to outsource production to China, rather than the typical Portugal and Los Angeles production for previous lines.
