The Doris Duke Foundation’s Mission: To improve the quality of people’s lives using grants, supporting performing arts, environmental conservation, medical research and the prevention of child maltreatment through the preservation of the cultural and environmental legacy of Doris Duke’s properties.
In an effort to keep the organizations efforts fueled, there will be a 2-day auction held offering up over 800 of Doris’s personal belongings. The quality treasures don’t stop there, since each of them will be strategically arranged to model Duke Farms, a 2,700 acre estate in New Jersey continuously dedicated to improving the environmental health of the area.
