LFW: Temperley London Spring 2014

This year, we're amazed by the colorful, bold collections at London Fashion Week. Full of life and romance, the Temperley London collection professed the desires of the luxurious woman’s lifestyle. Exaggerated silhouettes, ultra feminine colors and floral prints graced the runway with ease. Come see Temperley London’s interpretation of the S/S 14 woman.

Temperley London brought an exaggerated, trapeze silhouette down the runway. The look was captivating, highlighting a woman’s body. The trapeze tanks paired over both max and mini skirts, mimicking the shape. Floral prints and color blocking gave depth to all the volume.

Another trending silhouette at Temperley London was the fit and flare dress. The bodice is tailored the to the body with cap sleeves, while the dress bubbles out at the natural waistline. It’s an iconic housewife look turned high fashion. To keep with the romance, similar floor sleeping dresses came down the runway. Necklines were high, scooped and barely exposing the collarbones.

Temperley London’s maxi dresses were the main statement pieces. The prints and textures were inspired by the Sicilian countryside. A rich, feminine color pallet covered the runway in magenta, rosy pink, electric violet, cream and black. Both floral and leopard prints merged together for an ombre print effect. Laser cut prints exposed the legs while sheer inserts of fabric showed a sultry side of the collection. Tap into your bold, romantic side with Temperley London next spring.
