The Economist Unveils New ‘Think Space’ Feature

LUXies, you have to check out this new tech-savvy feature over at The Economist!

We adore their innovative design in capturing a ‘day in the life’ of their readers!! Although they only show a few of their FAVs, it definitely provides this amazing opportunity to gain insight about the featured reader not just by the picture of their room, but also the descriptions they provide about the different items in their ‘Think Space.’ It’s kinda like getting a behind the curtain view of The Wizard of OZ!

By scrolling over the users red dots on their ‘Think Space,’ you’ll read about their tales of genius, learn about their creative thoughts, or see their style statements that surround them. One of the most intriguing people we found was ‘Elisabeth Chavelet,’ Deputy Editor in Chief of Paris Match. We loved how she had the Jean-Paul Gaultier perfume bottles lined on her desk and her love of old-fashioned pens!

Elisabeth Chavelet provides some insight into the standing perfume bottles: “I have been collecting them forever. I love French fragrances. Jean-Paul Gaultier is a nice man. I would not care for a man who does not wear perfume.”

Elegant, yet straight to the point, this multi-dimensional space truly captures the essence of each reader and also allows you to think about what your own workspace says about you!!

As you can see the technology behind this feature is simply amazing, well designed and most definitely well thought out!!! We encourage you to check it out for yourself and possibly, submit your own space!!

Is this something that invites you to be a part of The Economist community?? What would your ‘Think Space’ reflect about your individual style statement LUX Nation??

I invite you to take a pic of your ‘Think Space’ and send it in to us! Next week we’ll put up a gallery of where all YOUR forms of genius takes place!
