We’re at a time where traditional ‘command and control’ is becoming yesterday’s way of leading and a new paradigm is being birthed. One that’s about honoring the genius of others and creating the most effective atmosphere for each to flourish in and out of the business setting. How LUX-tastic would the world be?

We’re at a time where it’s critical for the feminine presence to be embraced and cherished in and out of work. This begs the question of what’ll it take for each of us to own our own internal power and intuitive gifts to finally bring ALL of ourselves in each and every moment of life. It’s this conscious approach to our Core Values and way of leading that‘ll be critical in allowing this shift to occur.

With many thought systems out there for change, we felt inspired to tell you about one in particular, Richard Strozzi-Heckler’s work. His aim is to help people master their own lives and lead from within. The Center for Leadership and Mastery is a place where many come to learn exactly how to do just that.

Much of his work centers on how we can become ‘conditioned’ by our environment in ways that can desensitize us over time. With this gradual numbing, often it’s finally when we’re at a point of pain that we’ll start to pay attention to where we’re not able to ‘be ourselves’ in our own lives. This particular approach examines how our physical body actually holds muscle memory that can then unconsciously affect the way we live without us ever being fully aware.

Through a specialized technique he can examine your body language, reactions, stress responses and the like to determine if your life is leading you, or you’re leading your life.

This is a time for all of us as leaders and as women to stop and take notice of how we treat those around us. Have we become the ‘boss’ we once couldn’t stand? Have we lost touch with what originally made us the stellar team member? As we stop and take inventory it’s important to pay attention to how you view others as well as yourself. How do you feel when you’re interacting with others, whether at the store or in your office?

Shifting our focus back to our own ‘genius’ and appreciating our peace can often allow us to foster the gifts in others. Though, it’s crucial that we’re able to embody the principles we ask of others on a continual basis. This authentic form of leadership is the way of the future! And women in particular, are the key to shifting this focus from control to trust! From scarcity to abundance! From results only focused to a global impact, sustainability and financial viewpoint. As we know, we’re each multi-faceted beings and it’s important to care for ourselves in this different way to continue to SHINE just like we do for our own precious jewels we wear!
