Fohr Card Connects Brands with Bloggers Via Digital Platform

A specialized online directory of fashion bloggers has hit the web. Launched on January 16, Fohrcard.com is a verified digital platform exclusively dedicated to providing statistics, detailed information and background on bloggers. The brand-to-blogger (B2B) site will act as a resume for bloggers and a marketplace for brands, reported WWD.

Containing a directory of almost 1,000 bloggers, Fohr Card aims to ease the collaboration process for brands, agencies, publications or other outlets that desire to work with online talent. Site co-founders James Nord, Rich Tong and Holly Stair are certain that the site will help enable the process of brands collaborating with bloggers to flow more seamlessly.

“We were getting e-mails every day, some from brands looking to connect with the right kinds of bloggers and some from bloggers looking to connect with brands. Nobody could find each other, and we realized there was an opportunity to build a tool to organize and legitimize the market,” Nord told WWD.

Each blogger within the site has their own profile page containing detailed information and statistics; Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr follower counts, as well as Google Analytics with unique page visits. Interaction data is also included from the past 30 days with amounts of “likes,” retweets and @ replies listed in addition to companies the blogger has worked with. Profile pages will also incorporate Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube in the overall ranking in the future.

Before being accepted, bloggers must apply and undergo a selection process. Once accepted into the Fohr Card database, bloggers will be categorized by blog type, platform and location to make it easier for brands to find the best suited for their company. Among the top-ranked bloggers featured on Fohr Card are What I Wore, Tuula Vintage, WeTheUrban, Textbook and hundreds more.

Brands using the site hope that Fohr Card will help them to discover the new wave of bloggers successfully. Proving its broad appeal within the industry, the site boasts the Council of Fashion Designers of America, Fashion GPS, KCD, Oscar de la Renta, Puma, Kate Spade and Lucky Magazine as launch partners.

The brand-blogger partnership experience is expected to gain more force this year, continuing to replace celebrities with bloggers as brand ambassadors, stars of ad campaigns and guest collaborators and designers. No other B2B platforms exist like this with a strict focus on this new and expanding sector of the digital realm.
