Proenza Schouler and MAC Launching Makeup Line
Hot off their collaboration with Rihanna, MAC announced this week that fashion label Proenza Schouler is joinging forces with the makeup brand for a color line of cosmetics. MAC isn’t one to shy away from partnerships, and neither is Proenza Schouler. It was revealed last week that the designers would be included in Jay Z’s holiday collection for Barneys.
The design team behind Proenza Schouler, Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez, are teaming up with MAC to release a limited edition spring collection. We’re interested in seeing what the fashion label will include in its color line since the design house is known for minimalistic designs. We do know from style.com that some of the products include ombre face powders, lipsticks, nail lacquers and eyeliners.
The products are expected to feature images of past collections of Proenza Schouler on its packaging. If you’re excited about this collab you’re going to have to be very patient. The line isn’t scheduled to come out until next April, but if it’s as spectacular as their NYFW show was, then we don’t mind waiting.
