Blast From the Past: The Return of the Pet Shop Boys
The Pet Shop Boys are back with a vengeance and taking the music industry by storm. Our favorite 80’s band will release their new album “Yes” on April 21st, showing us they still have what it takes to get the party started. Check out the full video of “Love, etc.” for a sneak preview of what is to come. The sound is reminiscent of the PSB we all know and love, and the lyrical message is perfect for the times: Happiness comes in the form of love, not in material riches.
“We thought that ‘Yes’ just kind of summed up the theme of the album. It’s a positive, upbeat, euphoric pop album,” keyboardist Chris Lowe said. “It’s almost an answer to the question, ‘Is that the Pet Shop Boys?’ ‘Yes!’ “
